Based on over 15 years of scientific research, The
Sustainability Scorecard® provides expert
independent assessment of your company’s current
position, and the means to improve specific business
practices that foster innovation of sustainable products
and services. The Sustainability Scorecard® gauges core
competencies and existing strengths from which a company
should build upon, and identifies gaps that should be
addressed with strategies for improvement. The five core
competencies include demonstrated management commitment,
metrics and reporting of results to stakeholders,
systematic auditing/assurance of sustainability
performance, engagement of internal and external
stakeholders, and sustainability innovation process. The
Sustainability Scorecard® allows a company to measure
sustainability performance improvement over time (see
