ISO 14000: General Information About Number of Global Certifications

Over the last 6 years, consumers, the financial community, and regulators have begun to pay more attention to an organization's environmental management system (EMS). It is estimated globally that for every ISO 14001 certified EMS, there are 2-3 more EMSs in place that are not ISO certified.
