P²AD Partnership Program

ERS Global created the new Georgia Department of Natural Resources Pollution Prevention Assistance Division (P2AD) Partnership Program to be compatible with EPA's National Environmental Performance Track. Complete with a streamlined application process, the P2AD Partnership Program provides public recognition and regulatory incentives for businesses who develop voluntary environmental management programs. Established in 2004, the Partnership Program is now the cornerstone of P2AD, according to director Bob Donaghue.

Natural Resources Management Plans for Military Installations

Working with the University of Illinois team for land management system support on behalf of the US Corp of Engineers Construction Research & Development Center (CERL), ERS Global is developing natural resources management plans for U.S. military bases to restore lands impacted by the mission of the base, address community interests and meet state/federal requirements. To date, plans have been completed for installations at Fort Hood, Texas and Fort Benning, Georgia. The open ended, multi-million dollar project is scheduled to continue for five years. In addition, ERS Global provided a total cost accounting analysis to identify the impacts on communities and other external stakeholders of military training missions.

US EPA Region 4 Architectural and Engineering Services Contract

ERS Global is a subcontractor to Weston Solutions, Inc. to support site assessment, emergency preparedness and remediation programs under the purview of the US EPA Region 4 Atlanta office serving the southeastern United States. Also a five-year, multimillion dollar project, this architectural and engineering (A/E) services contract gives EPA Region 4 data to develop an administrative record to support regulatory requirements and also to negotiate with states and responsible parties to initiate voluntary remediation activities.
